Fes To Marrakech Desert Tour 3 Days
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast in Fes, we begin our fes to marrakech desert tour through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its European-style architecture.
We stop in the cedar forest of Azrou to meet the friendly Barbary macaque monkeys. Continuing south via Midelt and the scenic Ziz Valley, we reach Merzouga in the afternoon.
Here, your camel trek into the heart of the desert begins. Ride across the golden dunes at sunset and arrive at your luxury or standard desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner under a starry sky with the rhythms of Berber drums.https:
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we ride camels back to Merzouga village and set off towards Rissani, known for its authentic souk.
We then continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges, famous for its towering rock walls that attract hikers and photographers alike. In the afternoon, we head to the Dades Valley, filled with palm groves, kasbahs, and unique rock formations. Overnight in a local hotel or guesthouse.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Skoura’s palm oasis and on to Ouarzazate, home to Morocco’s most famous film studios.
We visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning fortified village used as a backdrop in many Hollywood films.
